First Aid (merit badge)

First aid—caring for injured or ill persons until they can receive professional medical care—is an important skill for every Scout. This badge is required for Eagle.
Scouts should bring materials for a personal first aid kit (requirement 2d) to be checked by the Instructor. Scouts must have completed all first aid requirements in the Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class ranks in order to participate (requirements 4, 6, and 7 respectively).
