Scouts who enjoy creative projects will be at home in the Handicrafts area! From working with leather, metal, and wood to photography and movie making, there is something for everyone at Handicrafts. Younger Scouts often enjoy basketry and leatherwork whereas older Scouts hone their wood carving and metalworking skills.
The Handicrafts area is open after Vespers on Monday and Thursday evenings. Scouts are invited to braid paracord survival bracelets or even bring their own t-shirts for silk screen printing and/or tie-dying. Handicrafts staff members are also available during these times to assist Scouts with finishing up any required craft projects for their merit badge sessions.
