Technology
The Technology area offers many merit badge sessions and other activities pertaining to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.). The purpose of the Technology area is to present new challenges to Scouts and offer them an insight into possible vocational opportunities and career paths.
Most sessions in the Technology area are designed for older Scouts, and some have minimum age recommendations. Several merit badges offered in other areas of camp are also related to the S.T.E.M. initiative, and are denoted by a * icon on the registration grid.
NOTE: Many aspects of the Technology area involve use of the Internet, including browsing and even generating content for the Web. Because these concepts are vital to get the most out of this program, we encourage Scouts to comeplete the Personal Safety Awareness Videos for their current rank before coming to camp.
