Vespers

Vespers is a short non-denominational religious service held each evening (except Wednesday) after supper from 6:45 to 7:00 and from 7:00 to 7:15 on Sundays. Vespers is held in the Chapel, located across Lake Watson. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

The Camp Chaplain
Scouts with other religious needs should feel free to contact the Camp Chaplain who is more than happy to assist. The Camp Chaplain's primary responsibilities include conducting Vespers services (often with assistance from visiting clergy), providing comfort and reassurance to homesick Scouts, and working to encourage a positive camp morale.

Chaplain's Aide Training
Scouts and units may volunteer to assist with Vespers during the week. Scouts who are working on religious awards are especially encouraged to do so. Additionally, all Scouts or Scouters wishing to train to be a Chaplain’s Aide will have an opportunity to do so one evening during the week. These Scouts are particularly encouraged to assist the Chaplain Staff for the remainder of the week.
