Raven Knob has a wide variety of indoor facilities that are used regularly during summer camp and available for rental while summer camp is not in session.

CENTRAL CAMP

CAPACITY: 1,000+

Harry R. Vaughn Sr. Dining Hall

  • Full commercial kitchen & walk-in refrigeration
  • Cafeteria seating for 1,000+ campers
  • AV sound system

Best Suited For: District recognition dinners, troop banquets, Eagle Scout celebrations, and large off-season dining operations.

CENTRAL CAMP

Capacity: 60-80

Program Center

  • Multi-room breakout floor plan for simultaneous groups
  • Heavy-duty craft and instructional workstations
  • Digital displays and projection support

Best Suited For: Merit badge academies, youth leader training (NYLT / ILST), STEM labs, and indoor rainy-day program rotations.

Lodge Road

Capacity: 100-150

Wahissa Lodge Building

  • Open assembly hall with stone fireplace
  • Food prep & warming kitchen with serving counter
  • Outdoor shelter options

Best Suited For: OA chapter fellowships, unit Court of Honor ceremonies, weekend leadership retreats, and unit banquets.

Central Camp

Capacity: 32-40

Zeb Barnhardt Training Center

  • Digital presentation screen & audio-visual hookups
  • Flexible classroom table and chair arrangements
  • Housing facilities and climate-controlled HVAC

Best Suited For: Wood Badge courses, BALOO / IOLS classroom sessions, commissioner conferences, and committee retreats.

LOOKING TO RENT A FACILITY?

Camp Raven Knob facilities are available for weekend troop campouts, training courses, and district events from August through May.
