Rifle Shooting
Fast Facts
In this session, Scouts will develop their rifle shooting skills and learn how to do so safely. Prior shooting experience is recommended. All necessary equipment will be provided by the camp. We highly recommend that Scouts be 13 years of age or older in order to participate, as they should be of adequate strength and size to manage a 10 lb. target rifle. Scouts who are unable to do this will be excused from the session and assisted in choosing another class by the administration staff. Participants should read and study the merit badge book prior to coming to camp. Each session is limited to twenty-six Scouts.
